Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
This morning Stephen Harper, the PM of Canada, came to EACO attending a service of dedication for our new sanctuary. In Harper's profile on Wikipedia, he is identified as a member of CMA (Christian and Missionary Alliance). I noticed that he even brought his own Bible.
Today is a special day, NOT because Harper was with us in the new sanctuary, but by the grace of God, by the salvation of the Lord, Jesus Christ, we worship him together, we all bow before Him.
Dr. Franklin Pyles gave a good sermon on "The Church Together". In God's eye, Dr. Pyles and Mr. Harper, actually even you and me, are serving the same purpose, His eternal kingdom.
May God Bless All!
